David Westrheim, President & CEO
David Westrheim is a veteran Owner-Operator of computer industry IT Solution Provider businesses in Canada, having been in the industry since 1980. Mr. Westrheim is an IT Solution Provider serial entrepreneur, having founded, built and successfully sold several technology companies and since 2001 has been leading his third Solution Provider venture; intelliNet. intelliNet is an award winning company which operates a CLOUD Computing Data Centre, a Managed Services practice and also provides Enterprise On-Site Field Service in all provinces and territories throughout Canada.
David also has a long track record specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) in the IT Solution Provider channel, both on the buying side as well as on the selling side. He has acted as a principal involved in his own deals, as well as in the capacity of an M&A Intermediary or Broker on other deals. David founded a virtually identical company to intelliNet during 1982 in Vancouver. During a sixteen-year period he led that organization into a successful and profitable Canadian national firm. The former company, known as TWG, was acquired in 1998 by what was then one of the largest software companies in the world; $1.3 billion GEAC Computer Corporation (TSE:GAC). Today, Geac has been rolled up into Infor (www.infor.com).
Mr. Westrheim studied Computer Science at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and has been involved in Federal Government of Canada sponsored Computer Industry R&D projects.
Gerry Evans, Director, IT Services Operations
Gerry Evans has been involved in a technical services career since 1985. Initially as a Network Systems Engineer, Gerry rose through the ranks to become a Technical Services Supervisor, Team Leader and Service Delivery Manager. For the majority of his career he has lead significant teams and departments of IT personnel spanning the complete Infrastructure Services lifecycle.
Mr. Evans has deep experience in Project Management, Service Delivery and with the achievement and performance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Further, he is technically proficient to drive technology solutions and infrastructure projects utilizing project management and ITIL based service management techniques. He has led service delivery teams for some of Canada’s top IT firms in the Enterprise space, including long tenures with Tier One organizations such as Getronics, NexInnovations and Metafore.
At intelliNet, as Director, IT Service Operations, Gerry has the overall senior responsibility for Service Delivery and Quality of Customer Experience.
Mr. Evans completed his Computer Science degree in 1985 at Vancouver College followed by a plethora of various technical product training certifications throughout his career.
Ali Juma, Sales & Marketing
Ali Juma started working as a professional computer technician on Point-of-Sales systems with AM/PM Service Ltd. By the time he left 9 years later, he had evolved into a Sales Account Manager. This lead to sales work for many years as the BC representative for printer manufacturer Brother International. With these 15 years of experience, Ali joined intelliNet at the beginning of 2004 in the capacity of Sales & Marketing Manager.
With his skills and experience, Ali designs programs to allow IT Solution Providers and Software Companies to use intelliNet resources to deploy their systems throughout all parts of Canada and provide them with on-site service coverage as well. Ali also designs IT Solutions for direct corporate accounts including the Network Topology, hardware, software and the infrastructure capacities required, resulting in a specified Statement of Work.
In his capacity of Sales Manager, Ali recruits and manages Business Development and Account Manager sales staff. Ali is involved in the selection of intelliNet product and service offerings as well as he leads the various marketing endeavors to build intelliNet’s strategic business relationships.
Mr. Juma obtained his Engineering Diploma in Micro Electronic Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).
Daniel Dutchyn, Chief Financial Officer
Daniel Dutchyn entered the accounting industry in 1995 working in public practice and within 4 years he stepped out into his own practice providing accounting services to clients in a broad array of industries. By 2002, Daniel was the Controller for a single chain of food franchises. Shortly thereafter, Daniel entered the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program to obtain this designation.
With his 3 years of financial management experience and over 6 years of accounting experience, Daniel leveraged this 9 years of tenure to join intelliNet as Controller in early 2005. Since that time he has grown within the organization to Chief Financial Officer, leading the Finance and Administration department and all of its personnel.
Mr. Dutchyn obtained his Arts & Science Diploma, Applied Computer Science & Technology Certificate and studied the CMA program, all at Langara College.
