RICHMOND, BC – September 19, 2018 – intelliNet is pleased to announce that Huawei Technologies (Canada) has selected intelliNet as their exclusive On-Site Service provider for the delivery of warranty services across Canada.
Through an extensive due diligence process Huawei and intelliNet reached an agreement in August, 2018 for the delivery of on-site warranty services for the Enterprise class of Huawei products which include Servers, Storage systems and Network infrastructure including Switches, Firewalls and Wireless Access Points.

intelliNet CLOUDtility Clients Continue Computing Without Interruption During Major BC Hydro Power Shutdown

RICHMOND, BC – September 3rd, 2015 – The intelliNet Data Centre located in the Metro Vancouver municipality of Richmond, BC, with Disaster Recovery Back-Up to Toronto, was subject to the same fate as 710,000 other BC Hydro Customers on the past weekend and for some, as long as into Wednesday thereafter. The intelliNet Data Centre Electrical Power was suddenly down on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 for in excess of eight (8) hours’ time.
When the power went out, the CLOUDtility Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’) lit up without missing a step and then ten seconds later, the Automatic Natural Gas Back-Up Generators took over for the next eight hours. Our client’s did not suffer any disconnection of service or latency, provided they had a device to use with a source of power such as a Smart Phone, Tablet, Laptop or power available to a Desktop computer. Regardless, their CLOUDtility Servers were up, running and ready.
According to David Westrheim, President & CEO of intelliNet; “For our clients who were able to operate their businesses during the electrical blackout extended period, by subscribing for CLOUDtility, they avoided loss of revenue and suffered no extra costs, damages and in some cases spoilage.” He went on to say; “Two years ago, 80% of our clients preferred classic On-Premises Servers located at their offices. More recently, now more than 80% of our clients select CLOUD services instead of the capital investments and maintenance costs required for On-Premises Servers with the refresh cycle every three years or so”, Westrheim added.
